家族の健康は、快適な暮らしの基盤です。夢ハウスでは自然素材を基本に、化学物質を抑えた建材を使用することで、健康被害から家族を守ります。無垢材には保温効果と調湿効果があり、四季を通じて快適な温湿度環境を保つことで、体温低下や免疫力低下を防ぎます。さらに、カビやウイルスの発生を抑え、健康リスクを軽減しながら快適な住環境を提供します。

The health of a family is the foundation of a comfortable life. At Yume House, we prioritize family health by using natural materials and minimizing chemical substances in our building materials to protect residents from health risks. Solid wood provides insulation and humidity control, maintaining a comfortable indoor environment throughout the year. This helps prevent temperature-related health issues, boosts immunity, and minimizes the risk of mold and viruses, ensuring a healthier and more comfortable living environment.

Energy Efficiency

Yume House employs advanced insulation and heat-shielding methods, creating structures that minimize the influence of external temperatures. Our designs circulate thermal energy efficiently throughout the home, enabling a single heating and cooling system to keep the home cool in summer and warm in winter, ensuring both comfort and reduced energy consumption.
耐震
地震大国日本では、耐震性能は欠かせません。夢ハウスは、在来軸組工法とパネル工法を併用し、震度7の揺れにも耐える構造を採用しています。2004年の新潟県中越地震では、震源地で被害がなかった数少ない建物としてNHKで紹介されました。さらに、2019年の沖縄・宮古島で最大瞬間風速60mの台風15号を直撃した際も、夢ハウスの住宅は被害を受けませんでした。
Earthquake Resistance
In earthquake-prone Japan, seismic performance is indispensable. Yume House combines traditional post-and-beam construction with panel construction methods to create homes that can withstand seismic intensity level 7 earthquakes. During the 2004 Niigata Prefecture Chuetsu Earthquake, our homes were among the few structures in the epicenter that remained undamaged, as featured on NHK. Additionally, during Typhoon No. 15 in 2019, which brought wind speeds of up to 60 m/s to Okinawa’s Miyakojima Island, Yume House homes remained completely unscathed.

木造住宅の寿命を左右するのは、「適材適所の素材選び」と「通気」です。木は湿気を嫌い、湿気が木材腐朽菌の繁殖を促進してしまいます。夢ハウスでは、湿気を防ぐ確かな通気工法と、菌を寄せ付けない適切な素材選びにより、安心して世代を超えて住み続けられる家を実現しています。
Durability
The longevity of a wooden home depends on "choosing the right materials for the right places" and "ventilation." Wood is particularly sensitive to humidity, which can promote the growth of wood-decay fungi and cause structural damage. Yume House employs reliable ventilation methods to prevent moisture buildup and uses materials that resist decay, ensuring homes remain safe and livable for generations.
環境
夢ハウスは、森林資源を活用した「循環型の家づくり」を行っています。木材に含まれる炭素を住宅として長期間固定することで、二酸化炭素の排出を抑えています。また、酸素を多く生み出す若木を植えることで、地球温暖化の抑制にも貢献しています。さらに、木材加工時に発生するおが屑は、薪ストーブの燃料や無添加の猫砂用ペレットとして再利用しています。
Environmental Considerations
Yume House is committed to sustainable, circular homebuilding practices that utilize forest resources. By processing carbon-rich wood into long-lasting homes, we reduce carbon dioxide emissions and contribute to combating global warming. We also plant young trees, which produce more oxygen, to replace those harvested. Additionally, sawdust produced during wood processing is repurposed as fuel for wood stoves or turned into additive-free cat litter pellets, ensuring no material is wasted.

含水率の重要性
Strong Foundation With Natural Hinoki
夢ハウスは、家づくりにおいて「適材適所の素材選び」にこだわりを持っています。しかし、それ以上に「木材の含水率」が重要であると考えています。一般に市場に出回る木材は含水率20％であるのに対し、当社は15％以下（自社木材乾燥機出庫時は10％以下）の木材しか使用しません。
市場に流通する木材は、採算性を優先するため、30年前の基準に基づく含水率で製造されています。しかし、現在では高断熱・高気密の住宅が当たり前となり、室内環境は以前よりも過乾燥になっています。そのような環境で含水率20％の木材を使用すると、さらに乾燥が進み、収縮や変形を引き起こします。この収縮は、ハウスダストの温床や結露の原因となり、場合によっては木材を腐らせることもあります。
夢ハウスは、市場に耐えうる木材がなければ自分たちで作ればよいと考え、木材乾燥機を独自に開発し特許を取得しました。この技術により、無垢材であっても収縮や変形を極限まで抑え、床暖房にも対応できる木材を作り上げました。
これも、住まう家族が快適で安心して暮らせるようにするための企業努力の一環です。
The Importance of Wood Characteristics and Moisture Content
At Yume House, we place great emphasis on selecting the right materials for the right purpose ("using the right material in the right place"). However, we believe that the "moisture content of wood" is even more critical. While most wood available in the market has a moisture content of around 20%, we use only wood with a moisture content of 15% or less (and 10% or less upon leaving our proprietary wood-drying facilities).
Wood distributed in the market is often produced with a moisture content based on standards from 30 years ago, prioritizing cost-efficiency. However, in today's high-insulation, airtight homes, indoor environments tend to be excessively dry. In such conditions, using wood with a moisture content of 20% can lead to further drying, resulting in shrinkage and deformation. This shrinkage can become a breeding ground for dust mites, cause condensation, and, in some cases, lead to wood decay.
At Yume House, we resolved to create wood that meets modern demands when none existed in the market. We developed and patented our proprietary wood-drying technology. This technology minimizes shrinkage and deformation even in solid wood, enabling us to produce wood suitable for use with underfloor heating systems.
